Description

Working With ASRS Equipment: Wooden pallets are not designed for the Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) environment because they rack out of the square, whereas, metal pallets are suited for working in the ASRS environment. These pallets work smoothly on the conveyor belts.
Steel/Metal pallets – Are excellent in providing complete safety as they are engineer rated, with rated lashing points and grid mesh to restrain heavy equipment to. Wooden/Plastic pallets – Low safety as wood/Plastic is easily broken, causes splinters and may not be rated to carry heavy equipment. Climatic Impact: Metal pallets are strong enough to withstand the rigors of tough environments. They are quite adaptable to any climatic condition except for hot climate. However, at mild and low temperature they offer good resistance. Wooden/Plastic pallets stiffen in cold climatic condition; however, you can’t see any changes in these pallets in mild and hot weather conditions.

Double-sided tape: how to use it regularly?

Applying double-sided tape on a surface might seem easy at first, but it's a job that requires extreme precision. So, how does it work?

  • First of all, since this tape has a double adhesive surface, you should cut the piece you need to use and remove it from its backing material – which preserves the stickiness of the exposed side.
  • Second of all, you need to apply double-sided tape on the first surface or material that requires it. Be careful how you position the tape: you must be precise and not make any piece of tape visible once the second surface is applied to it.
  • Finally, press the second surface or material to the first one, in order to make them perfectly coincide. You might need to press for a few seconds to ensure the best tape adhesion.
